GENERAL

Bora Bora airport has the distinction of being located on a small island called "Motu Mute". For each arrival and departure, Air Tahiti offers a shuttle through in about 25 minutes. Visitors landing for the first time in Bora Bora will have a first overview of one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world.

Several daily flights take off from Papeete, but you can also get there at start of Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea and Rangiroa.

Bora Bora island has a tourist office, which will inform you about tourist activities and transport. Remember you can book many excursions with the activities office, at Village Temanuata reception.

Bora Bora is one of the most visited islands in the world and an international clientele stay there, then English is widely spoken.

The local currency is Pacific franc. Most credit cards are available in hotels, restaurants and shops.

Monday to thursday : from 7.15 am to 3.15 pm
Friday : from 7.15 am to 2.15 pm
Saturday : from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm.

Monday to friday : from 7.45 am to 11.45 am & from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm

Banque Populaire
Monday to friday : from 7.30 am to 12.00 am & from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm

All banks are closed on saturday, sunday and public holidays.
